It is the measure of how many visitors come to your website and leave without visiting any other page on your site. According to Inc., a 50 percent bounce rate is average but lower is definitely better.

      A high bounce race can be a sign of problems with your web page. You can easily track your site's bounce rate by using tools such as Google Analytics. Or if you wish to determine your bounce rate yourself, the formula is easy:

      Data Needed:

      A) Number of visitors who entered a site onto a particular page during a set period of time.

      B) Number of single page views for that page during the same period.

      Divide B by A then multiply by 100 = Bounce Rate Percentage

      Now that you have your bounce rate, what can you do with it? If your number is 70 percent or higher, you may want to look at your web page for some answers. What does your landing page look like? The landing page is your one chance to make a first impression, so it is imperative that it make an impact. If your landing page doesn't grab the viewer immediately, it is likely they will bounce. So let's dive in and see what we can do to make your web site less bouncy.

      Make It Mobile

      Web pages today are no longer viewed only on a PC. Instead, they are being viewed on smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. If your site is not mobile device friendly, you may notice your bounce rate climbing.
